He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rachel J. (Patterson) Taggart, daughter of Samuel B. Patterson and Polly (Griffin).
Alexander is survived by three children, Mary Warren of Goffstown, Hillsborough, NH, Fred Edward and his wife Emma L. (Crawford) of Goffstown, Hillsborough, NH, and Hugh Jameson and his wife Mary Angelique (Quirin) of Goffstown, Hillsborough, NH; one brother, Thomas X. and his wife Sarah B. (Watkins); two grandsons, Alexander Crawford of Nashua, Hillsborough, NH, and Harold Wilbert of Nashua, Hillsborough, NH.
